Ambrian Capital plc (“Ambrian”) has appointed John Wolff as an adviser to its Commodities Division.
John is one of the metals trading and broking industry’s most recognised figures. For over thirty years he worked for Rudolf Wolff & Co Limited, with over half that time as a main Board Director. In 1993, he founded John Wolff International, a consultancy business advising major international companies in various aspects of metal production, trading and broking.
John has held many elected positions, including sitting on the London Metal Exchange (“LME”) Committee (1979-86); Vice Chairman of the LME Board (1987-90); Chairman of the Joint Exchanges Committee (1991-92); Chairman of the LME Board (1990-92); and at various times from 1983 to 1991, John was on the Management Committee of the London Bullion Market Association, the Board of the London Gold Futures Market and the Joint Exchanges Committee. He is currently an honorary member of the LME, President of the LME Benevolent Fund and on the panel of LME Arbitrators.
